The Shared Ministry is a
combined United Church of Christ and United Methodist Church in Harrisburg,
PA. We are located at 16th and Market Streets in the heart of the Allison
Hill Neighborhood. Both churches that came together to form the Shared
Ministry have been part of this neighborhood for more than a century.
Much of our focus is directed at serving the residents of the surrounding
inner city neighborhood. We provide many outreach services including a
breakfast program, an after school tutoring
program, a day camp for city children, clothing bank, food vouchers and
pastoral counseling.
We are made
up of people from many races, backgrounds, beliefs and ages. We are
liberal, moderate and conservative. We welcome all people to join us.
