For over 100 years, the two congregations that form the Shared Ministry
have served the residents of Allison Hill. The Shared Ministry is a joint
endeavor of two neighborhood churches but it is more than a church; it is a
community sanctuary that welcomes everyone. We provide clothing and
vouchers (for food and household items) to more than 400 people every
month. Every Wednesday evening we open our doors to about 25 neighborhood
children who need homework assistance, a friend to talk to, or a hot meal.
The last Saturday of each month we serve a free breakfast to anyone. We
work hard to serve our community and we would like to do more.
